A cricketer accused of raping a woman is to face a re-trial, the Crown Prosecution Service (CPS) has said.
Former Worcestershire all-rounder Alex Hepburn stood trial earlier this month when a jury failed to reach verdicts on two counts of rape.
The CPS said the alleged victim had been consulted before the decision was taken to seek a second trial.
Australian-born Hepburn, 23, denies raping the woman - who cannot be named - in April 2017.
His re-trial has been listed for Worcester Crown Court on 8 April.
A CPS spokesperson said: "After careful consideration of the case against Alex Hepburn, including consultation with the complainant, we have decided to seek a retrial."
