Stars are getting red carpet ready for the UK's biggest film awards ceremony tonight, with Olivia Colman the front runner to be crowned BAFTA Queen.
Dark comedy drama The Favourite, which stars the British actress as Queen Anne, is favourite by name and nature, leading the nominations race with 12 nods, including best film.
Colman is tipped to win best actress, with the nomination coming after her success at the Golden Globes and the Critics Choice awards. She is up against Lady Gaga, Glenn Close, Melissa McCarthy and Viola Davis.
Her co-stars Emma Stone and Rachel Weisz are both nominated in the best supporting actress category, while Yorgos Lanthimos is up for best director.
Stars due to attend the ceremony include Margot Robbie, Bradley Cooper, Christian Bale and Cate Blanchett, as well as Colman, Close and Weisz. The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are also expected to make a royal appearance on the red carpet.
Lady Gaga will be performing at the Grammys in LA, with the clash meaning she is unable to attend the BAFTA ceremony.
A Star Is Born, in which the singer stars alongside Cooper, is up for seven awards, tying with Queen biopic Bohemian Rhapsody - a big winner at the Golden Globes - and Roma, while Vice has six and BlacKkKlansman five.
Along with The Favourite, the best film nominees are BlacKkKlansman, Green Book, Roma and A Star Is Born.
A Star Is Born missed out on all but one of the five Golden Globes it was nominated for so will be hoping to fare better tonight.
:: Christian Bale: Vice makes me cry for what America could be
In the running for best actor, Vice star Bale is up against Rami Malek, for Bohemian Rhapsody, Cooper for A Star Is Born, Steve Coogan for Stan and Ollie, and Viggo Mortensen for Green Book.
Cooper has also received his first BAFTA directing nomination for A Star Is Born, his directorial debut, alongside Spike Lee for BlacKkKlansman, Pawel Pawlikowski for Cold War and Lanthimos for The Favourite.
The supporting actress nominees are Amy Adams, Claire Foy and Margot Robbie, for their roles in Vice, First Man and Mary, Queen of Scots respectively, alongside Weisz and Stone.
The supporting actor nominees are Adam Driver for BlacKkKlansman, Mahershala Ali for Green Book, Richard E Grant for Can You Ever Forgive Me?, Sam Rockwell for Vice and Timothee Chalamet for Beautiful Boy.
The Favourite is also in the running for the outstanding British film gong, alongside Beast, McQueen, Stan and Ollie, You Were Never Really Here and Bohemian Rhapsody - although film-maker Bryan Singer's name has been removed from the names listed on the Queen film's nomination in the wake of sexual abuse allegations, which he has denied.
Mary Poppins Returns, a sequel to the 1964 original, starring Emily Blunt, received three nominations in the technical categories - original music, production design and costume design - but missed out in all of the major categories.
The awards will be hosted by Joanna Lumley, with red carpet coverage from 5pm. Follow all the action here on Sky News in our live blog.
