A large fire has broken out at a retail park in Wakefield after starting in a bakery.
Approximately 140 firefighters are tackling the blaze at the industrial bakery Speedibake in the city's Westgate retail park.
The fire is believed to have started at around 1.20pm.
Police and 20 fire engines rushed to the scene, and West Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service said 75% of the bakery's ground floor had been damaged by the fire.
Witnesses who had planned to watch the film Jumanji at the Cineworld opposite the bakery were told to wait in the cinema.
Connor Strachan, 19, said there were nearly 100 people there, some of whom had been evacuated from the Mecca Bingo also opposite Speedibake.
He said: "We were eventually let out, a lot of the other buildings were evacuated too. There was a lot of black smoke, it was quite chaotic."
West Yorkshire Police has warned drivers to avoid the area, stating road closures are in place around Ings Road.
A police spokesman said there have been no reports of any injuries.
