Renae Lawrence - a member of the infamous Bali Nine - has turned herself in to police just a few days after returning to Australia.
Lawrence, 41, was released from an Indonesian prison on Wednesday after 13 years in jail for her part in a plot to smuggle more than 8kg of heroin into Australia.
A police spokeswoman told the Sydney Morning Herald that Lawrence had attended a police station in Waratah, New South Wales, on Friday "in relation to outstanding warrants issued in 2005".
She was bailed and is due to appear in court in her home city of Newcastle, Australia on 6 December.
Police say she was involved in a police chase using a stolen car in March 2005, just weeks before she was arrested with eight other people in Indonesia.
By the time that warrants were issued over the alleged car chase, she was already awaiting trial on the drugs offence.
Lawrence was originally jailed for life in Indonesia but her sentence was later cut to 20 years.
She managed to get the prison term reduced further due to good behaviour and is the only Bali Nine member to have been released.
Ringleaders Andrew Chan and Myuran Sukumaran were executed by firing squad in 2015 and a third member, Tan Duc Thanh Nguyen, died of cancer earlier this year.
The others remain in jail: Martin Stephens, 42; Michael Czugaj, 32; Scott Rush, 33; Matthew Norman, 32; and Si Yi Chen, 33.
Lawrence has said little in public since she returned to Australia, refusing to answer questions when she arrived at Brisbane airport before catching her flight to Newcastle.
But ABC reported that she had said she was grateful to the Indonesian government for releasing her.
