Blackburn Rovers manager John Eustace has been charged with misconduct by the Football Association after clashing with a Coventry player during last weekend's match at Ewood Park.
The incident took place shortly after half-time, with Eustace shown the red card and sent to the stands for pushing Kasey Palmer on the touchline.
An FA statement published on X read: "John Eustace has been charged with misconduct following the EFL Championship game between Blackburn and Coventry on Saturday, April 27.
"It's alleged that the Blackburn manager acted in an improper manner around the 50th minute.
"He has until Friday, May 3, to provide a response."
Coventry were later reduced to 10 men when Liam Kitching was shown a red card.
Despite enjoying a numerical superiority for half an hour, Blackburn could not make the vital breakthrough and the game ended in a goalless draw.

The missed opportunity to secure their Championship survival means Rovers' fight to avoid the drop into League One will go into the final day of the season.
Their fate will be decided on Saturday when they travel to Leicester City, who clinched the Championship title on Monday night.
