Boat capsizes near Greenock: Two bodies found after search and rescue operation in the Firth of Clyde
Two bodies have been recovered after a boat capsized in the Firth of Clyde, near to the Inverclyde town of Greenock on Friday afternoon.

Two bodies have been recovered from the mouth of the River Clyde after a tugboat capsized.
The vessel sank into the Firth of Clyde, near to the Inverclyde town of Greenock, at around 3.30pm on Friday afternoon.
It had been understood two people were on the boat when it capsized.
A huge multi-agency rescue agency was launched, with police, coastguard, and the RNLI, all involved.
Divers involved in the search have since recovered two bodies, police said on Saturday.

Police Scotland, the coastguard and the RNLI were called out to the scene after the boat went under the water at the Custom House Quay.
The force said its dive and marine unit and the air support unit had been involved in the search operation.
Rescue teams from both Helensburgh and Greenock were also scrambled, along with a lifeboat from Helensburgh RNLI and the coastguard helicopter from Prestwick.
