Boy, 12, dies after being knocked off bike by car in South Wales

A 12-year-old boy has died after being knocked off his bike by a car in South Wales.
Cole Roper and another boy aged 12 were cycling on the same bicycle on the A4049 near Aberbargoed when they collided with a Vauxhall Astra on Saturday evening.
Cole was taken to Prince Charles Hospital in Merthyr Tydfil before being transferred to Cardiff's University Hospital Wales, where he later died.
The other boy was also taken to hospital for treatment and has since been released.
The driver of the Astra did not suffer any injuries.
Gwent Police released the name of Cole following his death and said he was from Cefn Fforest in Caerphilly County.
Police are now calling for any witnesses or motorists with dash-cam footage driving in the area on Saturday evening to come forward.
