Chris Pratt and Anna Faris separate after eight years of marriage
The Guardians Of The Galaxy star and the Scary Movie comedian say they "tried for a long time" as they announce their split.

One of Hollywood's favourite couples have announced they are separating after eight years of marriage.
Chris Pratt and Anna Faris shared the news on social media, saying they are "really disappointed".
"Anna and I are sad to announce we are legally separating," they said in a statement released late on Sunday.
"We tried hard for a long time, and we're really disappointed.
"Our son has two parents who love him very much and for his sake we want to keep this situation as private as possible moving forward.
"We still have love for each other, will always cherish our time together and continue to have the deepest respect for one another."
The Guardians Of The Galaxy actor met Faris on the set of their 2007 comedy Take Me Home Tonight, and they married two years later.
Their son, Jack Pratt, is four years old.
The film's premiere was delayed for four years and was held when the couple were already married.
"This is a pretty spectacular moment for us, to be able to come to this movie that we met on and fell in love making," Pratt said at the 2011 premiere.
Faris, 40, rose to fame starring in the Scary Movie films - a spoof of teen slasher flicks from the early noughties.
After losing weight, 38-year-old Pratt went from playing goofy characters in TV shows like Parks And Recreation to starring as the leading man in major blockbusters like Jurassic World and Guardians Of The Galaxy.
In April, Pratt paid tribute to Faris when he received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
"Without you, none of this would mean anything," he said.
The two had grown to become one of Hollywood's favourite couples, and fans have been left heartbroken with the news.
"Love is dead. Chris Pratt & Anna Faris are separating," one user wrote on Twitter.
"Man Chris Pratt and Anna Faris were a couple I had mad faith in. That's real sad but at least they're civil for their son's sake," wrote another.
"If Chris Pratt and Anna Faris can't stay together, then what hope does that leave for the rest of us?!"
