More on Covid-19

"Fitness is key to being able to maintain both your health and independence.

"That's why, with the nation's help, I hope my new lockdown workout sessions will help to raise significant funds for Age UK's appeal.

"We may not be able to be together but together we can #workitout."

Lusardi, 61, spent 10 days in hospital with fever, chest pains and vomiting due to the coronavirus.

The former Page 3 girl said: "I know at first hand how debilitating this disease can be.

"It is important to keep your fitness levels up. You know what they say, 'a healthy body, equals a healthy mind', which is so important at these uncertain times.

"That's why I'm looking forward to supporting Mr Motivator this week in raising funds for Age UK."
