Cheers as protesters pull down slave trader statue

The figurine has been put on the empty plinth which was home to a statue of slave trader Edward Colston.

That was toppled and thrown into Bristol Harbour during a Black Lives Matter protest in June.

The 1ft Vader figure appeared overnight and it is unclear who is responsible or if permission was given.

It was only there for one day after it was secretly installed on Wednesday
