The jury has now been dismissed for the day after continued testimony from US special agent Deleassa Penland.
Before proceedings got under way, we were expecting a former employee of Sean "Diddy" Combs, who has been granted immunity, to take the stand at some point. However, Penland's testimony took longer than expected, prosecutor Maurene Comey said at the end of today's session.
The prosecution is now unlikely to rest its case before Friday, she added; questioning of the former employee, Brendan Paul, should now start tomorrow, and there is no court on Thursday as it is the Juneteenth holiday in the US.
Cross-examining Penland about texts and other data she reviewed for the case this afternoon, the defence hoped to show that Combs's former partner and alleged victim Cassie Ventura did not object to her role in his "freak off" sex sessions - and was even an enthusiastic participant.
Combs's lawyer Teny Geragos introduced one text chat in which Cassie wrote "LOL, sure, when", when asked by the rapper to meet him at a hotel in October 2013.
During her own testimony, Cassie told the court she participated in the freak offs to keep Combs happy.
The trial resumes tomorrow afternoon UK time.
