Property mogul, business magnate, author, reality TV star, former beauty pageant owner and Twitter enthusiast - just some of the past lives of the next US President Donald Trump.
The tycoon attracted media attention for virtually everything he did on the campaign trail after he announced his attention to run for the Republican nomination.
And there are fewer candidates in US election history who can have divided the American people so much after a series of incendiary remarks on immigrants, women and Muslims.

"The Donald" defied expectations to win the Republican nomination and his election as the 45th US President has sent shockwaves around the world. But just who have voters chosen as the next occupant of the Oval Office?
:: The outsider candidate
Mr Trump had never held a political office, a fact he brought up throughout his campaign against the "Washington establishment".
One of his frequent tactics at rallies was to rail against a "rigged system" he said kept career politicians in power, and he has threatened to "drain the swamp" in Washington DC to shake up the US political system after winning the White House.
He is also the head of a global brand which includes hotels, casinos, golf courses, beauty pageants, luxury apartments and Trump-branded merchandise, not to mention his years as the host of the popular Apprentice reality TV show.
:: Where did he come from?
The 70-year-old is the head of the vast Trump Organization, with Forbes estimating his net worth this year to be around $3.7bn.
Mr Trump took control of his father Fred's company in 1971 and has built an empire of properties around the world.
He flirted with entering politics in the past - including in 2004 and 2012 when he considered running for the US presidency - but was able to play on the fact he is not encumbered with Washington "baggage" during his campaign.
:: Highs and Lows
When he announced his candidacy for the Republican nomination, many expected Mr Trump would fall by the wayside as more established candidates emerged.
But that never happened and Mr Trump enjoyed months at the top of GOP polls as voters reacted to his swashbuckling style.
At times he trailed Hillary Clinton by nearly eight percentage points in national polls, but he refused to quit and his message was clearly enough to win over the key swing states needed to triumph in the election.
That said, the tycoon also courted controversy with some of his campaign announcements, including labelling some Mexican immigrants as "rapists", calling for a total ban on Muslims entering the US and with remarks about women.
He has also been the subject of allegations of sexual assault, which he has denied.
His combative style did not win him many friends within the Republican party, with nomination rivals refusing to endorse him and senior party figures distancing themselves from his campaign.
:: Key Policies
Mr Trump has gained most attention for his stance on immigration, including his promise to build a wall along the US southern border which he claims Mexico will pay for.
His campaign slogan is "Make America Great Again", and he has vowed to bring jobs back to America, cut taxes, repeal and replace the Affordable Care Act (Obamacare) and crack down on illegal immigration in the US.
:: Trivia
Back To The Future character Biff Tannen - the older, wealthier Biff in the franchise's second installment - was inspired by Mr Trump.
Screenwriter Bob Gale, when asked by The Daily Beast about similarities between the character and Mr Trump, said: "We thought about it when we made the movie! Are you kidding?"
