Driver's car seized after trying to avoid Stansted Airport parking fees - and he still owes nearly 拢500
Essex Police issues a tweet reminding people to pay for parking after they stop a man whose car got stuck when he tried to avoid a barrier at Stansted Airport.

A driver who allegedly tried to avoid paying for parking at Stansted Airport had his car seized by police when he got stuck.
Officers intercepted the driver of the Volkswagen car when he attempted to drive round the barrier and went over the kerb.
When they looked into his details, they found out he was a disqualified driver.
A tweet from Essex Police at the airport said: "Please remember to pay for your parking @STN_Airport.
"This driver tried to avoid paying, got stuck when driving around the barrier and to top of his bad day.... he was a disqualified driver. His car was seized by @EssexPoliceUK and he still owes £496 in car parking fees!"
