Essex: Woman and two dogs killed in Chigwell hit-and-run crash
The driver of the car failed to stop at the scene and a white Seat Leon was found nearby shortly after the collision.

A woman and two dogs have been killed in a hit-and-run crash in Essex.
The 48-year-old woman was walking with two dogs in Manford Way, Chigwell, when she was hit by a car, believed to be a white Seat Leon.
Emergency services were called at 5.09pm on Friday but the woman was pronounced dead at the scene.
Her family have been informed and are being supported by specialist officers, the Metropolitan Police said.

The driver of the car failed to stop and a Seat Leon was found nearby shortly after the collision.
No arrests have been made and inquiries are ongoing to trace the registered keeper of the vehicle, the force said.
