Family of DJ Avicii launch foundation to help people with mental health issues

The family of DJ Avicii, who died last year, have launched a foundation to support people with mental health issues in his memory.
The Swedish star, real name was , died in Muscat, Oman, in April 2018, aged 28.
Relatives have now announced the Tim Bergling Foundation, which they have said will initially focus on supporting people and organisations in the field of mental illness and suicide prevention.
It also will be active in climate change, nature conservation and endangered species, they have said.
was best known for singles Wake Me Up, Hey Brother and Levels, and had collaborated with artists including Madonna and Coldplay.
He was a pioneer of contemporary electronic dance music and a rare DJ capable of attracting audiences on worldwide arena tours.
However, he suffered with acute pancreatitis and retired from touring for health reasons in 2016, although continued making music in the studio.
Following his death, his family said he was an "over-achieving perfectionist" who worked at a pace that led to "extreme stress".
In a statement at the time, they said he had been struggling and "could not go on any longer".
Police said there was no criminal suspicion over the DJ's death.
