Family pay tribute to 'much-loved granny' Margaret Joyce Griffiths after son charged with her murder

A family have paid tribute to their "much-loved mother and granny" after her son was charged with her murder.
Margaret Joyce Griffiths, known locally as Joyce, was found injured in a property in Llanfrynach, Wales, after officers were called on Friday night.
The 87-year-old was airlifted to hospital, but died the following day.
Her son, John Anderson Griffiths, 57, was arrested at the scene and charged on Monday night.
He has been remanded into custody and is due to appear in court on Tuesday.
Ms Griffths' next of kin and family are being supported by specialist officers from Dyfed Powys Police, the force said.
In a tribute, the family said they have been left "heartbroken" and asked for privacy at "this dreadful time".
"Margaret Joyce Griffiths was a much-loved mother, granny, sister and a loyal and active member of the community," the statement read.
"The tragic recent events have left the family heartbroken and in deep shock."
Alongside the tribute, the family also shared a picture of Ms Griffiths posing in a red coat, with a dog by her side.
