It's the end of the first week of election campaigning - and also exactly a month until voters head to the polls. Here's what happened today.
In a sentence: Nigel Farage called on the Conservatives to stand down in Labour seats they would "never win", but was rebuffed.
In a paragraph: The Brexit Party leader wanted Boris Johnson to return the favour after he pulled more than 300 candidates from every Tory seat to stop the pro-Leave vote being split at the general election on Thursday 12 December.
In 100 words: Keen to prove his continued relevance and importance in British politics, Mr Farage put pressure on the Conservatives to boost the chances of Brexit Party candidates taking seats in areas that have historically always returned Labour MPs. But Chancellor Sajid Javid gave an unequivocal response: "We will be standing in all the seats that we normally stand in. We won't stand aside for anyone," he insisted. "We won't be doing a deal with Nigel Farage or anyone else." Meanwhile, Labour leader Jeremy Corbyn talked up the prospect of an "alliance" between US President Donald Trump, Mr Farage and Mr Johnson.
Still want more? The Liberal Democrats and Labour both tried to embarrass the prime minister for his initial response to widespread flooding in northern England, by calling for him to declare a national state of emergency.
Mr Johnson convened the government's emergency response committee known as COBRA (short for Cabinet Office Briefing Room A), after a call by Mr Corbyn to do so.
Plans to give all adults six years of free study were also outlined by shadow education secretary Angela Rayner at a speech in Blackpool, and Labour said it had been hit by a cyber attack.
Mr Farage faced the fallout from his decision to pull all 317 Brexit Party candidates from Tory seats, with one raging: "All that Mr Farage has exposed is his duplicity to so many supporters who had put their faith in him. He and you are a disgrace to politics!
"I shall be spoiling my ballot paper for the first time in my adult life! There is not a decent honest politician in parliament!"
Meanwhile, Kevin McNamara, the Lib Dem candidate in Thurrock, stood down after racist tweets emerged in which he repeatedly used the 'n' word - and the party's wannabe MP in the PM's constituency of Uxbridge and South Ruislip also pulled out because of her mother's ill health.
And on a lighter note, SNP leader Nicola Sturgeon visited a children's nursery in Edinburgh.
