Sheffield Wednesday have reported an incident to police after a fan appeared to mock the death of former Sheffield United player George Baldock during Sunday's match against their city rivals.

Baldock, who played for Sheffield United for seven years, died aged 31 after drowning in his swimming pool in Athens, Greece, in October.

During Sunday's Sheffield derby between Wednesday and United at Bramall Lane, social media photos appeared to show a Wednesday fan display a message on his phone that said "Where's Baldock?"
