Holi: Millions celebrate Hindu festival of colours

Millions of people across South Asia have been covered in coloured powder as part of Holi, the Hindu festival of colours.

In India - home to around one billion Hindus - people threw coloured powder at each other, danced and feasted on traditional sweets.

The ancient festival symbolises the victory of good over evil and marks the end of winter.
