A teenager who was hurt in the Essex hit-and-run attack has described the moment he saw the car fatally hit a 12-year-old boy.

Alfie Barnes, 15, told Sky News he witnessed victim Harley Watson "going under the car" and his body "laying there" after the collision.

A 51-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of murder following what police described as a "deliberate" crash into a group of pupils outside Debden Park High School in Loughton, Essex.

Alfie said he had known Harley at school and he was a "good kid" who he often saw "having a laugh" with friends.

The 15-year-old told Sky News he "blacked out" after the collision and might have been hit in the head by the car.
