More than 70 police officers are searching for a student who went missing during a night out in Hull two days ago.
Libby Squire, 21, has not been seen by friends since getting into a taxi outside the Welly nightclub in central Hull at 11pm on Thursday.
The University of Hull student is believed to have been turned away from the club and was put in a taxi by her flatmate Amelia Cummins, who told HullLive she has lived with her for the past two years.
Police believe Ms Squire got out of the taxi about five minutes later near her home, which is only about 1.3 miles away.
CCTV last captured her at about 11.45pm near her home, where a motorist got out of his car to help her.
Police said the man has been in touch and has "really helped out".
The student, who is believed to be doing a philosophy degree, is described by her family as a "very thoughtful and caring young woman who puts others before herself".
Her disappearance is "very out of character", they added.
Rachel Christii, who said she is Ms Squire's oldest friend, tweeted: "PLEASE HELP US FIND MY OLDEST & BEST FRIEND.
"Libby Squire, 21, last seen getting into a taxi on Beverly Road, Hull.
"She's 5ft 7, long dark brown hair, was wearing a black leather jacket & black jeans.

Ms Squire's flatmates and friends have organised a search party setting off from the University of Hull's student union on Saturday afternoon.
They will join more than 70 police officers who have been searching for Ms Squire since Friday.
Police said 200 trainee officers have also been drafted in to help with the search.
Humberside Police superintendent Simon Gawthorpe said they are "extremely concerned" for her welfare.
He asked residents in the area to continue searching their gardens and out buildings in case Libby took shelter there.
