A mother has told Sky News she reported Khuram Butt to police two years ago - after fearing he was trying to radicalise children in east London.
The woman confronted Butt in a park in 2015 after suspecting he was trying to groom children on his estate in Barking with money and sweets - including her sons.
She said: "My kids came home and said 'Mum we want to become Muslim, and this gentleman has given us some sweets'."
The woman went to the park to confront Butt, who had been playing football with her young sons.
She said: "He made me feel uncomfortable, and he was very intimidating, he didn't like the way I was challenging him."
She claims he told her that "whoever offends or disrespects Allah... that person needs to die".

The mother added that she had taken photos of Butt with a group of men in the park - one of whom she believes was fellow London Bridge attacker Rachid Redouane.
She handed the images to police in Barking during an interview several hours later.
She said during their 45-minute conversation that Butt had tried to justify the murder of Lee Rigby, and claims he said: "The incident with the soldier... is the correct way, because look what's happening in Palestine."
She says she is disappointed more was not done to monitor Butt's movements by authorities.
"The fact that I gave them a little push, and they knew who he was," she said.
"Why you didn't tag him? Why you didn't follow him?
"There are people suffering in hospital, for something that could have been prevented."
