The boyfriend of a soap star's daughter smiled as he filmed her overdosing on a Class A drug at a music festival, a court has heard.
Ceon Broughton, 29, filmed Louella Fletcher-Michie for about 50 minutes after giving her the drug 2-CP, and also took a photo of her at about the time she died as she lay motionless in undergrowth with her eyes closed, covered by a coat, it is alleged.
Broughton had ignored pleas from Louella's family to seek help as her condition worsened, Winchester Crown Court was told.
He told a friend he feared being "bagged" by the police.
Her body was found after he eventually went to find help, the court heard.
In an audio recording also played to jurors, Louella is heard groaning as Broughton tells her: "Stop eating thorns, you're just going to cut your beautiful f* skin."
Broughton's friend Ezra Campbell said while giving evidence that Broughton and Louella had separated from a group to go to a "forest".
Mr Campbell told the court he got a call at 7.51pm from Louella's brother, Sam Michie, who told him their mother was "driving down".
Mr Campbell then phoned Broughton. "He said, 'Na, it's cool man, tell her not to come'," Mr Campbell told the court.
In a message to Mr Campbell, Broughton said "I can't get bagged", adding about the police: "You know them feds on them tings around here," the court heard.
Ms Fletcher-Michie's body was discovered by security staff at Bestival in Dorset at around 1am on 11 September 2017.
She was the daughter of actor John Michie, who has appeared in Taggart, Coronation Street and Holby City.
In the video footage Broughton recorded, Louella can be heard shouting: "This is the best trip I have ever f* had."
In another clip shown in court, recorded at around 5.53pm, she says: "My mum and dad, brother and sister, I love you lot."
She repeatedly shouted to Broughton, telling him to "film me", "call my mum" and "call my brother, call my sister".
Broughton, who appears to smile during the footage, turns the camera on himself and tells Louella: "It's between me and you."
He also tells her to put her mobile phone on air plane mode, which would disable calls and messaging, and to "put your phone away" as she talks about contacting her mother.
Louella can be seen stumbling around a wooded area on the fringe of the festival site at Lulworth Castle.
The court heard that Louella's mother, Carol Fletcher-Michie, eventually managed to contact Broughton at 6.48pm and heard Louella "screeching" in the background.
She "dropped everything" and travelled with Mr Michie, 62, who has starred in Holby City, Coronation Street and Taggart, to the festival site.
Broughton, from Enfield, north London, denies manslaughter and supplying Louella with the drug.
The trial continues.
