A spokesman for Lancashire Police said Mr Choudry died from his injuries on Thursday, and a post-mortem will be carried out to determine the cause of his death.
A 24-year-old man was also seriously injured during the attack and is recovering.
A 13-year-old boy and three men from Blackburn - Rafaqat Ali, Fazal Ilahi and Sadaqat Ali - had earlier been charged with attempted murder.
They are all due to appear at Preston Crown Court on Monday 17 December.
