A man's body has been found on a beach in Dorset.
It is believed to be connected to the disappearance of a man who was swept away by a wave near Freshwater Beach Holiday Park in Bridport.
Dorset Police were called at 2.55pm on Sunday over concerns for a man in the water.
The man, aged in his 20s, was walking along the beach with a woman when they were both swept out to sea.
The woman managed to make it back to shore and was treated by paramedics.
The Coastguard, RNLI, police officers, a helicopter and the ambulance service all joined the search.
A body was found on Hive beach this morning.
It has not been formally identified but police believe it is the man who went missing.
His family has been informed and the coroner has been notified.
It comes as the UK was hit with blustery and wet weather over the weekend which caused a number of ferry services to halt operations.
