The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have released a new video of their son Archie to mark his first birthday.

The clip shows Meghan reading her one-year-old son one of his favourite books "Duck! Rabbit!" as he sits on her knee, with brief off-screen participation from Harry, who filmed the video.

Archie, who looks very much like his father, can be seen giggling as he helps his mother turn the pages, before getting a bit restless and grabbing another book which he throws towards his mum.

The video was released on the Save the Children Instagram account, , to raise funds for their coronavirus campaign #SaveWithStories.

Other parts of the Royal Family have wished the one-year-old a happy birthday, with the Royal Family, Clarence House and Kensington Royal Twitter feeds all posting photos of the little boy with his family, along with a birthday message.

Archie Harrison Mountbatten Windsor was born at the Portland Hospital in London a year ago and his excited father Prince Harry appeared in front of the cameras at Windsor Castle that afternoon to announce the arrival of their new son.
