'No suspicious circumstances' after man's body recovered from car fire

The body of a man has been recovered after a car fire in Dumfries and Galloway.
Emergency services were called to Burntscarth Road in Locharbriggs at about 8.40am on Thursday.
Police said a 61-year-old man was found dead at the scene and his family had been informed.

The death was initially treated as "unexplained" when the investigation began.
On Monday, a Police Scotland spokesperson said: "There are no suspicious circumstances surrounding the death and a report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal."
