Gwen Stefani made her mark as a fashion icon, quite literally, at the 2019 People's Choice Awards held in Santa Monica, California.
The Voice judge wore a white strapless gown by Vera Wang designed with black accents and the words "fashion icon" emblazoned on the hem, in an ode to the award she won on Sunday night.
The 50-year-old star, who was the former lead singer of the band No Doubt, completed the glamorous look with knee high black boots, fishnet tights and gloves.
On accepting the Fashion Icon award, the Don't Speak singer said: "Blake Shelton, look. Icon wow, this is hard to digest."
She reflected: "I feel like I just always, always loved fashion it was just one of those very instinctual things partly because of my mom, my grandma, my great-grandma, my grandma sewed my mom's clothes.
"My mom would come home from school and my grandma would have made her prom dress."
Stefani was not the only one who dressed to impress on the red carpet, with singer Zendaya wearing an eye-catching black cut-out gown by rising designer Christopher Esber, which featured a diamante trim.
Meanwhile P!nk, who was crowned as this year's People's Champion, stood out in a black wide-legged suit and a blush pink blouse underneath as she hit the red carpet with her husband Carey Hart and their children.
The So What singer relayed why she felt the award was appropriate in her acceptance speech, saying: "I looked up People's Champion… and Rocky Balboa came up, which I thought was fitting because I'm from Philadelphia, I wear sweatpants and I like to fight people."

She added: "I am a dumbass derelict from Doylestown, and I have managed to change a little part in my little world… there is so much to be done.
"I don't care about your politics. I care about your kids. I care about decency and humanity and kindness. Kindness today is an act of rebellion. There are people who don't have what you have. Help them get it."
Jennifer Aniston nearly stole the show entirely in a strapless black gown as she was honoured with the People's Icon Award.
The actress, 50, reflected on her career after catapulting to fame as Rachel Green in the hit US sitcom Friends.
Other stars to make a sartorial impression on the red carpet included Euphoria actress Storm Reid in a statement blue Iris van Herpen dress, while pregnant Jenna Dewan showed off her baby bump in a red Monique Lhuillier gown.
The Kardashians also went all out on the red carpet, with Kim showing off her hourglass figure in a snakeskin Versace dress, while her older sister Kourtney wore just a bra underneath a pinstripe diamante suit.
On their show Keeping Up with the Kardashians winning Reality Show of 2019, Kim said: "This means so much because the fans voted for this.
"You guys have been there for us for 18 seasons... and you've seen so many evolutions, and growth and transformations from all of us, personally, professionally, and we're just so glad that we're still entertaining 18 seasons later."
