Police investigating an alleged racially aggravated hit and run attack on a black NHS worker have released pictures of the vehicle involved.
The man, who wishes to be known as Kdogg or K, was seriously injured after he was hit by a dark blue Honda Accord while walking to a bus stop following a shift at Southmead Hospital in Bristol in July.
Witnesses have told police the people in the car then shouted racist abuse at the victim before running off.
Amongst his injuries, K, 21, suffered a broken leg, nose and cheekbone - leaving him unable to walk without crutches or stand up and requiring three operations.
His family released a graphic picture, showing his horrific facial injuries.
He could only sleep sitting up in a chair and needs regular hospital treatment.
Four men have been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder in relation to the incident, which took place at about 4.30pm on 22 July.
The pictures of the car show considerable damage to the front passenger side as well as a smashed windscreen.
Detective Inspector Danielle Underwood, of Avon and Somerset Police, said: "You can see from the impact damage to the car and the wall how K came by such significant injuries.
"While we have made arrests we do still need to hear from anyone who saw the occupants of the blue car or knows who was driving it."
The case featured on the BBC's Crimewatch Roadshow on Friday. There is a £5,000 reward for information given to the Crimestoppers charity that leads to the conviction of those responsible.
Doctors have said it will take at least six months before K is able to do most things, but it will take longer for him to get back to full fitness.
He has been left permanently scarred by the attack, with surgeons unable to remove glass and grit from his face.
His family are being supported by the charity Stand Against Racism & Inequality and a fundraising page has raised more then £58,000, passing its £5,000 target inside two days.
A group of between 50 and 100 protesters gathered outside the hospital following the alleged attack, chanting "black lives matter".
