A farmer from Northern Ireland has ordered Rihanna to put her clothes back on during the filming for her latest video.

The singer had borrowed his corn field in County Down to shoot her single We Found Love.

On the outskirts of Bangor, traffic came to a standstill as fans flocked for a glimpse of their idol.

But her host, 61-year-old Alan Graham, thought he had seen more than he needed to.

He got hot under the collar when he went to fetch his tractor from the set of the video shoot. He considered the R&B singer's clothing, or lack of it, "inappropriate" and asked her to cover up.

Mr Graham said: "I requested that they stop filming and they did. I had a conversation with Rihanna and I hope she understands where I'm coming from. We shook hands."

The risque costumes, in which she braved the Ulster autumn, included a red bikini barely covered by an extra-large cowboy shirt, and red-and-white striped bikini and unbuttoned jeans.

Mr Graham, who sits on the local council, is a member of the Democratic Unionist Party, founded by the Reverend Ian Paisley. He has conceded that he is "not familiar" with Rihanna's work.

Last Christmas, viewers criticised Rihanna's raunchy performance during the X Factor final.

Former Spice Girl Mel C recently urged her to be more responsible regarding the over-sexualisation of children.

But social media shows the singer has not been deterred.

Rihanna's understood to have resumed filming at a secret location in Belfast, where she is playing the Odyssey Arena this weekend.

:: Britney Spears has also caused offence while filming her latest video in London.

Officials in Hackey, which was attacked by rioters last month, are angry that the singer was filmed robbing a store and brandishing a gun in the Criminal shoot.

The council said it was in poor taste and although it had approved the filming it "did not agree that a replica gun could be used on location".
