Friday 29 October 2021 07:10, UK
Scientists are warning that COP26, the UN Climate Change Summit in Glasgow, is the world's final shot at keeping hope alive, and rewriting the trajectory of our planet.
So with all hands on deck, what will it take for COP26 to be a success, and can we keep the Paris target of 1.5C of global temperature rise alive?
On this week's episode of Sky News ClimateCast hosts Anna Jones and Katerina Vittozzi are joined by Sky's expert correspondents who have been following the build-up of COP26 for months, and who will be scrutinising the conference in the coming weeks.
The climate, political and science correspondents discuss why a lack of finance for developing nations and a reliance on coal could jeopardise crucial climate change negotiations that will determine the future of our planet.
But, can we afford anything other than success?
