Alexi Lubomirski, who also took Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's engagement pictures, said he is delighted to have been chosen to take the photos on 19 May.

Discussing his role in the Royal nuptials, he said: "I could not be more thrilled or honoured to photograph this historic occasion.

"Having taken Prince Harry and Ms Markle's engagement photos, it brings me such joy to be able to witness again, the next chapter in this wonderful love story."

The romantic set of engagement images he took at Frogmore House in Windsor last year include an informal black and white picture of Prince Harry and Meghan embracing, as well as a more formal colour shot of the pair holding hands.

Earlier this week, the Palace announced some of the community heroes and members of the public who will be helping the couple celebrate.

The couple have said they want the wedding to be "a big shared event" that is "modern, inclusive but still adhering to tradition", and they want "everyone" to be part of their big day.
