Madame Tussauds has unveiled a waxwork of Meghan Markle, complete with her sparkling engagement ring that was designed by Harry.

Likenesses of the royal couple will feature together in a special exhibition at the London museum ahead of their wedding on Saturday 19 May.

The waxworks are dressed in the outfits they wore for the first TV interview as a couple, with Meghan standing elegantly in her dark green P.A.R.O.S.H dress.

She is also wearing a replica of the ring that Harry had custom-made for her, with the original featuring a diamond he sourced from Botswana.

Harry and Meghan will appear in front of a 15ft wide video wall, allowing visitors to be photographed with them in front of a range of backdrops.

The prince's figure, which was first created to mark his 30th birthday in 2014, has been updated to include his beard.

Madame Tussauds has said the first chance to see the exhibit will be on the night before Harry and Meghan's wedding.

Tickets go on sale for a special over-18s hen and stag-do from 7.30pm, with a bar and DJ on hand at the event.

Madame Tussauds has described it as "the perfect way to party with the golden couple ahead of their big day".

On the day of the wedding itself, the waxwork museum said some of its most famous figures will be "patriotically dressed to the nines".

Madame Tussaud's sister attraction in New York is also revealing a Meghan Markle figure on Wednesday.

The unveiling comes as Legoland Windsor created a miniature version of Harry and Meghan's upcoming wedding.

The attraction has made a replica of the couple at Windsor Castle, built from almost 60,000 Lego bricks.
