A man has appeared in court charged with murdering his wife and teenage daughter at their home in Salisbury.
Officers were called to Wessex Road on Monday following an incident, where two women were pronounced dead, and Marcin Zdun, 39, was arrested.
Wiltshire Police previously said it had received a report from a member of the public at 2.45pm the same day following concerns for people living at the property.
Police discovered the body of one woman, and another was found seriously injured, but died a short time later.
Formal identification is yet to be carried out, but officers believe they are Aneta Zdun, 40 - the wife of the accused - and Nikoletta Zdun, 18, his daughter.
Zdun appeared virtually, via video link, before Basingstoke Magistrates' Court on Wednesday.
He was assisted by a Polish interpreter, but did not enter any pleas and no application for bail was made.
He was remanded in custody until Friday when he will appear before Winchester Crown Court.
