The Queen is to resume royal engagements at Buckingham Palace.
Her Majesty, 94, and the Duke of Edinburgh, have been on a summer break at Balmoral in Aberdeenshire after spending the COVID-19 lockdown in Windsor.
They will be heading to the Sandringham Estate in Norfolk next week, the palace said.
Then, next month, the Queen will return to Windsor Castle, where she and the duke moved to from Buckingham Palace on 19 March.
They spent four months at their Berkshire residence with a reduced household.
Her Majesty intends to "resume the use of Buckingham Palace for selected audiences and engagements", a statement said.
It continued: "These plans will be kept under review and will of course be subject to all relevant guidance and advice."
It is not yet clear whether Prince Philip, 99, will remain at Sandringham when the Queen returns to Windsor.
Future arrangements for the duke are still being discussed.
