Trevor Sinclair arrested on suspicion of drink-driving, assault and criminal damage after disturbance

Ex-England footballer Trevor Sinclair has been arrested on suspicion of drink-driving, common assault and criminal damage after a woman was hit by a car.
The 44-year-old, whose clubs included West Ham, QPR and Manchester City, was arrested after Lancashire Police were called to an incident at 8.45pm on Sunday.
It follows reports of a disturbance at an address in Victory Boulevard, Lytham.
A police spokesman said: "Officers attended the property and found a man had already left the property in his car, a Tesla X60D.
"A short time later officers found the vehicle which had been involved in a collision with a woman pedestrian on Clifton Drive. She received minor injuries.
"The driver, a 44-year-old man, was arrested on suspicion of drink-driving, common assault and criminal damage.
"He is currently in custody."
The BBC football pundit made 12 appearances for the England national team and played during the 2002 World Cup before retiring in 2008.
