Two men have been charged in connection with a double stabbing in Manchester.
Adam Benaicha, 21, and Mohammed Ali Saim, 20, will appear in court on Friday after a 16-year-old boy and a 20-year-old man were stabbed and seriously injured in Longsight in Manchester.
Police believe the attack on Tuesday evening around Rushford Street and Purcell Street was targeted.
Benaicha, of Waverton Road, and Saim, of Aston Avenue, Manchester, were both charged with section 18 assault and possession of an offensive weapon and remanded in custody, the force said.
Both the injured men are in a stable condition in hospital.
Originally the police said an 11-year-old boy was one of the defendants. Greater Manchester Police issued an update to amend the age to 21.
