Seven killed during Russian strikes, Ukraine says
Russian attacks across Ukraine have killed seven people and injured 34 over the past day, regional authorities reported.
In Kyiv, which came under one of the heaviest attacks on the capital of the war so far, four people were injured and fires broke out across multiple districts, mayor Vitali Klitschko said.
A drone attack on Odesa killed two men and injured eight other people, four of whom were hospitalised, governor Oleh Kiper said. Medical facilities, including a maternity hospital, were also damaged in the southern city.
In Dnipro, Russian attacks killed one person and injured another yesterday and wounded two other men overnight, governor Serhii Lysak said.
Three people were killed in Donetsk and eight others were injured, while one person was injured in Kharkiv, officials said.
One person was killed and eight injured in the Kherson region, while an elderly woman was injured in Zaporizhzhia, according to its officials.
