A West Ham fan has been hit and killed by a train in Belgium after watching his team play.
The 57-year-old climbed up an "elevation" that led to train tracks in Sint-Pieter's Station in Gent for "unknown reasons", a local prosecutor's office said.
The incident happened after the side's Europa Conference League quarter-final first leg match against Belgian side Gent on Thursday.
The man was taken to hospital that evening where he was later pronounced dead.
A spokesperson from East Flanders' prosecution office called it an "unfortunate accident".
