A woman has been arrested on suspicion of murder after the death of a 69-year-old woman was linked to a missing Rolex watch.

A 66-year-old woman is now in custody after police previously said they believed the death of Jennifer Abbott - who was also known professionally as Sarah Steinberg - could be linked to the diamond-encrusted piece.

Police were called at 6pm on Friday 13 June to a report of an unresponsive woman at her home in Mornington Place, Camden.

Officers found a woman with stab injuries, who was pronounced dead at the scene.

A post-mortem gave Ms Abbott's cause of death as sharp force trauma.

She had last been seen by neighbours on Tuesday 10 June, walking her dog in the Camden area.
