A 74-year-old woman in India has reportedly given birth to twin girls.
Erramatti Mangayamma could be the oldest ever person to give birth after the twins were conceived through IVF, according to doctors in the state of Andhra Pradesh.
Ms Mangayamma conceived the babies in the first round of IVF and was monitored by three teams of health professionals, her doctor said.
The twins were delivered via caesarian section on Thursday.
The mother will be kept under observation for the next 21 days and will not be allowed to breastfeed.
Ms Mangayamma and her husband have been married since 1962 and have struggled to conceive.
They approached Dr Sanakayyala Umashankar in 2018 and he agreed to let them try one round of IVF treatment.
Following the birth, Dr Sanakayyala said: "In the first attempt she (Mangayamma) was pregnant, and that was really amazing for us and from that time, we formed into teams.
"So, we formed three teams, one to look after her pregnancy and one team to look after nutritional needs, and another team to look after her general health."
Ms Mangayamma's mother she felt "happy" but also "tense".
"We will look after the children. No problem with that. There are people to support.
"I have been here for the past eight months. I only cooked food for her, as she was pregnant and needs a special diet.
"I always wanted a granddaughter, now I have two. I am very happy."
The oldest confirmed mother was Spanish woman Maria del Carmen Bousada, who gave birth at the age of 66.
