China: At least 11 killed as school gym roof collapses in city of Qiqihar in the north east of the country
Nineteen people were in the gym in the northeastern city of Qiqihar, when the collapse happened on Sunday, the official Xinhua News Agency said. It did not say how many were pupils, but many are believed to be young female volleyball players.
