Italy: Three skeletons dating back to 79 AD discovered at new excavation site in Pompeii
Archaeologists believe the skeletons belong to two women and a young child who was probably three years old. They likely died when the roof of their home collapsed following the eruption of Mount Vesuvius in 79 AD.
