Labour celebrate mayoral election success
The biggest upset, saw Labour's Richard Parker snatch victory in the West Midlands from Conservative mayor Andy Street - a result described by Sir Keir Starmer as phenomenal. After a partial recount, 1,508 votes was all that separated the two candidates.
