Nuclear fusion: What is a 'super' magnet?
The government has announced an investment of 拢410m in fusion energy over the next year, as well as a shortlist of companies to work on STEP, the UK's next big fusion project. STEP needs "high-temperature superconducting magnets" to pave the way for fusion power plant testing.
