Pope Francis visits Catholic pilgrimage site in Fatima as wildfire rages nearby in Portugal
The atmospheric conditions did not deter the many who congregated in the town, with some assembling well before dawn. Pope Francis headed to the Chapel of Apparitions of the Shrine of Our Lady of Fatima, a Catholic pilgrimage site, as part of his trip to Portugal for World Youth Day.
