US 'watching with concern' as Azerbaijan targets Armenian positions in Nagorno-Karabakh
Azerbaijan has targeted Armenian military positions in the Nagorno-Karabakh region, in what it is calling an "anti-terrorist operation". The area has been the focus of two wars since the collapse of the Soviet Union in 1991, the latest of which involved six weeks of heavy fighting in 2020.
