Mark Austin presents the News Hour with Mark Austin from 5-7pm weekdays on Sky News.
He regularly presents on location from some of the world鈥檚 most significant stories including the Israel-Gaza border, Iraq, Libya, Haiti, Nepal, Mogadishu, Afghanistan and Washington.
Before joining Sky in 2018, Mark spent 35 years reporting and presenting for ITV News and the BBC, having started his career in local newspapers. He was Senior Correspondent for ITV News, as well as a foreign correspondent based in Africa and Asia.
Mark鈥檚 achievements have been acknowledged with industry awards including winning five BAFTAs; an International Emmy for his reporting of the devastating floods in Mozambique, a Golden Nymph for covering the war in Kosovo, a Gold Medal at the Film & Television Festival of New York for his coverage of the Bosnian war, as well as RTS Presenter of the Year in 2014 and 2015.
