Biography
Matthew is a home news and occasional political correspondent for Sky News, covering a wide range of stories from Westminster and beyond.
He regularly reports on the biggest stories of the day, from court cases to terror attacks, as well as delivering exclusive reports and investigations. Aside from politics, his focus includes immigration and asylum, crime and the cost of living crisis. He also regularly covers Sky's regional bureaus around the UK.
Prior to joining Sky News, Matthew spent four years as the senior reporter at LBC radio, following major stories like Brexit and the coronavirus pandemic. Before that he travelled the UK and the world as a reporter and producer for BBC Newsnight, covering UK and European elections, the migrant crisis and the death of Fidel Castro.
