At the start of the seventh week of the trial, the court heard continued testimony from a special agent who has reviewed some of the evidence in the case against Sean "Diddy" Combs.

Joseph Cerciello began giving evidence on Friday and will continue tomorrow as well. The prosecution is expected to rest its case after this.

Before today's session started, Combs's defence lawyers said they do not plan to call any witnesses, but will submit some evidence, according to our US partner NBC.

After this, defence lawyer Teny Geragos said it is expected that each side 鈥 the prosecution and the defence 鈥 will take about four hours to make closing arguments to jurors.

Those final words could be spoken on Thursday, with jurors getting their first chance to deliberate on Friday.

If you're just checking in, here's a round-up of all today's key updates:

  • Special agent Joseph Cerciello is a summary witness who has reviewed data relating to messages, travel bookings and payments;
  • During his testimony today, jurors have been shown several explicit videos of "freak off" sex sessions - but these have not been shown to the media or members of the public in court;
  • Before Christmas 2021, some 50 explicit files were made in just a few days, Cerciello told the court;
  • Jurors also heard how a sex worker was in New York around the time Diddy appeared at an MTV ceremony and was also handed a ceremonial key to New York City;
  • In messages to an escort agency, Diddy spoke of being a regular and long-time customer and also once complained about an escort not being able to "perform";
  • More messages between alleged victim "Jane" and Diddy were read in court, including one in which she told him she was not a "porn star" or an "animal", and wanted to stop the freak offs;
  • The court also heard details of requirements for intravenous recovery therapy following a freak off;
  • And in messages to his then chief of staff, Combs requested 20 bottles of baby oil after running out.

A reminder of the charges: Combs faces five criminal counts - one of racketeering conspiracy; two of sex trafficking by force, fraud or coercion; and two of transportation to engage in prostitution.

He has strenuously and consistently denied the allegations against him, and pleaded not guilty to all charges.

That's all for our coverage today - the trial resumes tomorrow at 2pm UK time on Tuesday. We'll see you back here then.

Jury dismissed for the day

Before court finishes for the day, jurors hear that in December 2021, Jane - whose real name is not being given in court - was in contact with a sex worker and appeared to initiate a "freak off" sex session.

She asked him to take a PCR test, the court hears - a reminder of the tests millions had to take during the COVID pandemic.

"You know it'll always be great," she told him.

Court will be back in session at 2pm UK time tomorrow.

We'll be back here shortly with a round-up of today's evidence.

Jurors see more explicit footage

During cross-examination of special agent Joseph Cerciello, the defence has shown jurors more explicit footage of "Jane" having sex in November 2021.

The video was shown to jurors, the judge and lawyers, but not to the media or members of the public in the courtroom.

While we do not know the contents of the video, the defence is hoping to show Jane was a willing participant in any sexual encounters involving Sean "Diddy" Combs.

Diddy told Jane to be 'explicit' in texts about escort, court hears

During cross-examination of the special agent, the court hears about more text messages between Sean "Diddy" Combs and former girlfriend Jane, who testified against him earlier in the trial under a pseudonym.

The pair dated on and off from early 2021 up to his arrest in September last year.

In November 2021, Jane told the hip-hop mogul that she couldn't wait to hook up with her "favorite person".

Combs asked if she wanted to see him and an escort, and told her to tell him what she wanted to do and be "explicit".

She responded in graphic sexual detail.

The defence argues that Jane - and Cassie Ventura, another former girlfriend and alleged victim - consented to these sexual encounters and were not the victims of sex trafficking.

Court back in session for cross-examination of special agent

Jurors and the judge are back after the lunch break and special agent Joseph Cerciello has returned to the witness stand.

After spending the first part of the day giving direct testimony about messages sent to and from Sean "Diddy" Combs, he will now be cross-examined by defence lawyer Teny Geragos.

Lunch break

Jurors are now taking their break for lunch.

Today's session will resume at about 6.45pm UK time - we'll see you back here then.

'I am not a porn star': Messages between Jane and Diddy heard in court

The court now hears about more messages between Sean "Diddy" Combs and Jane, a former partner and alleged victim who testified earlier in the trial under a pseudonym.

The pair dated on and off from early 2021 until the rapper's arrest in September 2024.

"I dont want to be f and mistreated," Jane told him in one message. "I am not a porn star, I am not an animal."

She told Diddy she had been through three years of "having to f*** strangers". She said she was tired and added: "I do not want to do this."

In another message, she told him she was "mentally and physically drained" and that she did not want to have sex with strangers "to fulfil your fantasies".

This was around the time of the lawsuit filed against Diddy by Cassie Ventura in November 2023.

'I can't believe I'm out': 20 bottles of baby oil requested in voicemail to chief of staff

As special agent Joseph Cerciello continues his testimony, the court hears about messages exchanged between Sean "Diddy" Combs and his former chief of staff, Kristina Khorram.

In one text, Khorram asked Combs to call her and told him: "Next time you leave when you're randomly partying, you have to tell us."

She told Combs he couldn't take Ubers with guests because "that's when bad s*** happens", the court hears.

"I didn't want to hit you with this, it's not cool, if something happens it would not be good," Khorram added.

And in a voicemail heard in court, from November 2023,  Combs could be heard telling Khorram that he needed more baby oil.

"I can't believe I'm out," he said, and asked for 20 bottles.

Khorram assured him a fresh delivery would be left outside his door.

Cassie Ventura and Jane (not her real name), both former partners of Combs, testified about his desire to use lots of baby oil during "freak off" sex sessions with male escorts.

In another voicemail, Combs told Khorram he wanted someone to bring him his "Apple TV system", whole milk lattes, coconut water, seven bottles of baby oil, five bottles of (lubricant) Astroglide, and some vegetable soup from a high-end grocery store.

Combs wanted the order filled so "I don't have to call anybody" about it later, he said in the voicemail.

IV therapy details for freak off recovery revealed to court

The court is now hearing about details of intravenous (IV) supplements taken by Sean "Diddy" Combs and his former girlfriend Jane - who testified under a pseudonym - as part of at least one "freak off" session.

Cassive Ventura also told the court she would take these with Diddy for recovery following drug-fuelled sex sessions.

In court now, jurors are given details of a group text which included Diddy and Jane and members of his team, in which an assistant included details of what was needed - sodium chloride, vitamin B12, B complex, zinc, calcium, amino acids, anti-inflammatory drug Toradol, magnesium, and antihistamine and sedative Benadryl.

Escort 'couldn't even perform', Diddy complained to agency

Following a short break, jurors are now hearing of another message exchange between Sean "Diddy" Combs and the representative for Cowboys 4 Angels, an agency he used for male escorts.

The representative told him there had been a "mistake" with a payment and that they were short by $600.

"LOL, he couldn't even perform," Combs replied, the court is told.

The representative reminded the rapper that customers pay for "time and companionship".

Combs asked her to "talk nice" to him, saying he always talked nicely himself, and again told her he was a "long-time" customer - as he did in messages heard earlier (see previous post).

"Cost is the same whether you're AG百家乐在线官网 diving or dancing... you pay for his time," the Cowboys 4 Angels representative said.

Combs told her he thought she would want to know how he felt about the service.

"I apologise if my tone came across as anything but respectful... not trying to be smart with you," she replied.

"It's all good, all love鈥 sorry for any stress," Combs responded.
